Membership - Dealer-Distributors

A Dealer or Distributor is defined as any business with more than $250,000 in annual sales. Businesses with sales of less than $250,000 fall into the category of Reseller or Retailer.

Dealers and Distributors are in the top level of the supply chain and offer the products they represent to resellers and retailers and/or consumers. They usually carry many different lines of products including hardware or electronic devices as well as karaoke music.

Dealers and Distributors who become members of the KIAA have the responsibility of monitoring their inventory and to only carry products which adhere to the standards set for KIAA member labels. While KIAA member Dealers and Distributors are entitled to carry non-member products as well, they must still only sell products that adhere to the these very same standards. This insures that retailers and consumers alike are not purchasing unauthorized karaoke products, and that the actual karaoke label that produced these products are the companies that are being compensated.

By joining the KIAA as a Dealer or Distributor you are pledging your best efforts to monitor your inventory, to adhere to the standards set by the KIAA, and to discontinue any products for which you have reason to believe does not adhere to these standards.

Your efforts to do this will contribute to the integrity and health of the karaoke industry, by helping insure that all content throughout the supply chain is not counterfeit and has entered into the supply chain from the actual legitimate sources.

The annual membership dues for Dealers and Distributors are $250.
